Anglican-Related Lists

For an overall and rather complete roster of Anglican-related mailing lists, web forums, and chat rooms, see the 'Discussions' section of Anglicans Online. This page lists only a few possibiltiies.

The ANGLICAN group of lists consists of some five mailing lists serving the worldwide community of Anglicans. These sister lists are devoted to all aspects of the Anglican Communion, and each serves a slightly different purpose.

ST SAM'S (the Anglican mailing list) is a general discussion forum; EPISCOPAL distributes longer 'features'; ACNS and ENS each forward Anglican press releases; ANGLICAN-MUSIC and ANG-CE (Christian Education) discuss their specialist areas; OREMUS is a daily prayer and intercessions list. You may choose to join one or more of these lists, depending on how you wish to interact with the community.

EPISCOPAL
is solely for the purpose of information dissemination. It carries OREMUS, the daily office originated by Steve Benner; BIO, short biographies of saints and heroes of the faith, and KAL, the weekly readings from the lectionary of the American Book of Common Prayer, by James Kiefer, and occasional other posts. ACNS (Anglican Communion News Service)
redistributes the press releases of the Anglican Communion News Service, which is based in London. To subscribe, click ACNS.

ENS (Episcopal News Service)
redistributes the press releases of the Episcopal News Service in New York. To subscribe, click ENS.

St. Bede's Anglican Mailing List
